Dr. Parviz Hajiyev is a European board-certified pediatric urologist (FEAPU), who specializes in the treatment of urological conditions in children.
Dr.Hajiyev graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University in 2009 and later completed his specialization in urology at the same university in 2015. He achieved second place in Turkey on the YDUS (Subspecialty) exam in 2015 and subsequently began his fellowship education in Pediatric Urology at Ankara University. In 2019, he completed a 3-year pediatric urology fellowship program and earned the title of Pediatric Urology Specialist. He was awarded first place for his studies at the European Congresses of Pediatric Urology (ESPU) in 2013 and 2014. He later passed the exams of the European Board of Pediatric Urology in Belgium, earning the title of FEAPU (Fellow of the European Academy of Paediatric Urology). From 2020 to 2022, he served as chief physician at the Republican Clinical Urology Hospital named after M. Javadzadeh.
He is the author of multiple scientific papers on pediatric urology and has given national and international presentations. Dr.Hajiyev has won multiple awards for his research and work. He speaks multiple foreign languages including English, Turkish, and Russian.
Dr. Hajiyev`s clinical interests include: Phimosis (circumcision), undescended testes (cryptorchidism), hydrocele, inguinal hernia, hypospadias, acute scrotum, varicocele in children and adolescents, testicular tumours in boys, urinary tract infections in children, vesicoureteral reflux, hydronephrosis, bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis), neurogenic bladder, urinary stone disease in children, congenital lower urinary tract obstructions (PUV) and etc.
